Sovereignty. Democracy. Rule of Law
What We Believe
Sovereignty matters. Every nation has the right to its own natural resources.
Democracy must be chosen, not imposed.
Foreign military coercion undermines self-determination.
Restore the rule of law — domestically and internationally.
International law applies equally to all countries.
Oil extracted through coercive control is unacceptable.
A rules-based global order depends on restraint, not force.
What We Mean by Sovereignty
Venezuelan sovereignty means that Venezuelan institutions — acting under Venezuelan law — control the country’s territory, political authority, and natural resources without external coercion.
Sovereignty does not require outside approval of a country’s internal politics.
Foreign military control, imposed governance, or coercive intervention are incompatible with the genuine exercise of sovereignty.
We support free and fair elections as a cornerstone of democratic legitimacy, while recognizing that sovereignty itself rests on self-determination and non-intervention.
Why This Matters Now
When oil extraction becomes tied to force:
sovereignty collapses,
war becomes profitable,
and international law becomes optional.
History shows where that leads.
We choose a different future.
What This Commitment Is
A defense of sovereignty and international law
A stand for democracy without coercion
A refusal to be complicit in oil taken by force
A commitment to the rule of law
What This Commitment Is Not
A blanket boycott of Venezuelan oil
An attack on lawful, sovereign-approved investment
A partisan campaign
An attempt to dictate Venezuela’s political future
We respect Venezuela’s right — and the right of all nations — to determine their own path.

Our Commitment
We make a clear, future-facing commitment:
If any oil company extracts or expands oil production in Venezuela under authority imposed or sustained by foreign military force, coercive intervention, or the erosion of Venezuelan sovereignty, we will boycott, divest, and pressure institutions to exclude that company from our support until such conduct ends.
This commitment is prospective and conditional.
No companies are designated today.
Add Your Name
